Not much we can tell you at this point yet. The game is set for an early 2011 release, but there are plenty of sneak peeks, screenshots, trailers and interviews floating around to whet your Marvel appetite.

What we can tell you, however, is that The Amazing Society is one hell of a team and we are excited as hell to be working with them. They are the kind of shop that reminds us why we got into games in the first place. They are alarmingly creative, dangerously passionate, freakishly intelligent and seductively nice. They will probably eventually take over the world, but not in a red flags and tanks sort of way. More like sunshine and lollipops.

The game itself is turning out beautifully and we are proud to be such a integral part of its development. What started out as a small contract to illustrate playing cards has turned into huge undertaking with Cinematics creating hundreds and hundreds of assets, concepts, environments and anything else they can throw our way. The greatest part is that since it’s an online game, we can expect to be working on it for years to come.

Discover new locations from the hit Super Hero Squad TV show including the sewers of VillainVille and the streets of Super Hero City while also exploring classic Marvel landmarks such as the Daily Bugle, Baxter Building and Stark Tower!

Super Hero Squad Online also offers a fully customizable headquarters where players can show off their collection of trophies and design their own unique superhero hangout. Players can even invite friends over to their headquarters to watch as their squads interact with the environments they’ve created.
