Nelson Tethers: Puzzle Agent
We know it’s pretty stock material to praise and brag about clients. They’re clients after all. We appreciate their business. They put food on our table. However, when we say we really dig Telltale Games, we mean WE REALLY DIG TELLTALE GAMES. Who else would put out a game based on the obscure work of local Portland artist/animator Graham Annabelle? Besides us, of course, it could only be Telltale.
“It’s like a ten-year old girl with a roll of quarters in her fist”
We could go on about the genius of Graham’s work. How he wields the tools of Kafka, Hitchcock, Lynch, The Cohen Brothers…and builds something so deceptively simplistic looking that you dont even come close to expecting the freight train that runs you over and cuts off your legs. It’s like a ten-year old girl with a roll of quarters in her fist. I could go on about how many times I watched Space Wolf (the team tallied it on the white board – well over forty) and laughed every time, just as hard as the first. I could, but I wont. Even though I just did. Check out the Grickle channel on youtube and I wont have to tell you anymore.
Better yet, go out and buy Nelson Tethers: Puzzle Agent. Being able to play hours and hours in Grahams wonderfully creepy world is better than watching Space Wolf over forty times in one day. It’s almost, ALMOST as cool as being able to work on a project with him.
